What do Navy SEALs have to do with technology?
We're a mission-minded team focused on continually elevating our effectiveness and professional excellence. This means learning and adopting principles from arguably the best in the world at what they do, the U.S. Navy SEALs.
Orion Founder Yacov Wrocherinsky participated in YPO U.S. Navy SEAL Leadership Under Fire, a four-day intensive leadership course run by Rob Roy, former member of the legendary U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six. The course uses military combat-style training to teach executives and managers necessary leadership skills to succeed in business and life.
The program changed Yacov's life and impacted his perspective on business and leadership, and he developed a strong relationship with Rob, who spent 20 years as a Navy SEAL. In addition to chairing the YPO U.S. Navy SEAL Leadership Under Fire program for more than five years, Yacov actively incorporates Navy SEAL principals into his life and business.
The Navy SEAL's leadership ethos and approach to excellence have become an important part of Orion's culture. Rob Roy is a member of the Orion Advisory Board, and his book, "The Navy SEAL Art of War," has become an unofficial employee handbook.
The Orion team approaches projects with a special operations sensibility in areas such as effective leadership, dedication to relentless training and intensive preparation and planning. We approach CRM implementation like any special operations mission: "There's no finish line".
